Sophia has been awarded the Hilldale Undergraduate Research Fellowship, and Serenity has received the Sophomore Research Fellowship! These fellowships will support their research in the lab in the summer. We’re excited to see their projects grow—well done, both of you!

  • Claire shared her research at the Rowan Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience Seminar in Stratford, NJ!

  • Ruiling, Sophia, and Claire presented their latest research at American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)’s Cell Bio 2023 in Boston, MA!

  • Our lab was well represented at the Chicago Area Worm Meeting (ChAWM) 2023Ruiling gave an oral presentation, while Sherlyn and Adam showcased posters.

  • Sherlyn had the amazing opportunity to present her research at the International C. elegans Conference 2023 (#Worm23) in Glasgow, Scotland! She received an honorable mention for her poster presentation. Congrats!

  • A huge congratulations to Julianna and Emma on their graduation! Julianna will be continuing her study in the MS Biology program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, while Emma will start working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Chicago.

  • Thrilled to welcome Serenity Her, an undergraduate Biology major, as a Letters and Science Excellence in Research (LASER) scholar in the lab! Serenity will be working closely with Ruiling.
